Our Mission

Mission Statement

Great barbecue cannot be rushed, and clean smoke cannot be faked. Our mission is to supply backyard cooks and dedicated pitmasters across America with 100% natural, kiln-dried domestic hardwoods—milled clean with zero sawdust binders, zero chemical accelerants, and zero artificial oils—so every hour tending the fire rewards your table with honest flavor.

Timber Smoke BBQ — Est. 2026

Timber Smoke BBQ was founded on a simple reverence for patience, live fire, and thin clean blue smoke. We believe the best cooks are earned—low and slow—when the wood itself is honest. That is why we exist: to put American hardwoods into the hands of cooks who care as much about what goes into the fire as what comes off the grate.

Why we refuse shortcuts

Too much “smoking wood” on the market is mystery mill scrap, bark-heavy waste, glued sawdust logs, or pellets dressed up with flavor oils. We refuse that path. Every bag we ship is built around single-species, kiln-dried, food-safe American hardwood—no fillers, no chemical binders, no artificial liquid-smoke oils, and no treated lumber that has no place near food.

  • 100% natural hardwood fiber — kiln-dried for clean ignition and steady combustion
  • Zero sawdust binders and zero chemical accelerants
  • Zero artificial flavoring oils — flavor comes from the wood, not a lab
  • US-sourced & US-shipped for cooks coast to coast

Wood chips as the everyday pitmaster’s workhorse

Wood chips are our hero format because they meet cooks where they actually fire: charcoal kettles, gas grills with smoker boxes, electric smokers, kamados, and weekend offset sessions. Alongside chips, we craft wood chunks for long ember beds, smoking pellets for clean hopper fuel, and grilling planks for aromatic seafood and poultry cooks.

Craft you can taste

Thin blue smoke is a discipline. It starts with dry, clean hardwood and ends with bark that tastes like patience—not bitterness. Whether you are building mahogany color on pork ribs with hickory and cherry, or finishing salmon on a Western red cedar plank, our job is the same: give you wood worthy of the fire you keep.
